Credits: 3 Class: 3 Lab: 0 Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing or departmental approval. This course will examine historical, current, and emerging trends in the field of literacy studies, with the understanding that literacy is defined by the many contexts and cultures in which it appears. Students will read and write within traditional text-based literacies as well as multimodal and digital literacies.
